DESCRIPTION:
As a salve or liniment, Arnica is effective
against pain or swelling, but nowadays is most-
ly seen in the garden. A central nervous
system depressant. Also called Heartleaf and
Flores Arnicae. Promotes circulation.

SUGGESTED APPLICATION:
Best to buy a prepared salve; or else soak 1/2 tsp
in 1/2 pint water; wash the area. Add Witch Hazel and/or
Comfrey. Tincture: 15-30 drops. Powder: 1-2 grains.
